Post-Contract Management
Andrew offers bespoke post-contract management services tailored to the needs of his clients, ranging from a visiting contract manager to support existing teams or as a neutral contract administrator (such as the Engineer or Project Manager) as set out in the contract.
His practical experience representing the Client/Employer, Contractor and Subcontractors within civil engineering, tunnels and roads, data centres, medical, education, building, and data centre sectors allows him to provide sound contract management services during the delivery of the project works.
Andrew Davidson is adept with the contract management procedures set out in FIDIC, JCT, SBCC, NEC contracts. His dual experience as both a degree qualified quantity surveyor with hand-on project manager experience, trained in claims management, with a postgraduate diploma in construction law, adjudication and arbitration. His legal training is founded on the common laws of Scotland and England & Wales whilst including a study of comparative law of the civil laws of Italy and other jurisdictions within Europe. He uses these attributes to manage contracts in a practical and structured manner.
In addition to this, Andrew can supplement existing project teams who may wish to outsource the drafting of communications (contract amendments or other such correspondence). Further, some clients have requested and benefited from independent periodic audits of their contract management procedures within their organisation to gather impartial advice for areas where continual improvement could be implemented.
As a resident of Italy with British citizenship, Andrew has freedom to travel throughout the Schengen area and the United Kingdom without the need for a visa.
